Traffic Modelling

Background

Due to the growth in the number of development proposals that the City of Ryde receives, there was a need to develop a framework to assess development applications from a Traffic and Transport perspective, for a range of intensified land uses based on its geographical location and increase in traffic generated (trips).

These guidelines (currently in draft form) will guide development proponents and their consultants through the process of preparing a detailed Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) request.

Why a controlled process?

To build reporting consistency with all TIA reports that Council receives and assesses.
