Mobile Phone Photographic Competition

The Hungry for Art Mobile Phone Photographic Competition called for entries from amateur and professional photographers who live, work, play or study in the City of Ryde to submit a photo relating to the theme of Hungry for Art.

Works by the finalists below have been  printed in A4 format and mounted by Fine Arts Inc. Meadowbank (FAIM) for display at the Hungry for Art DrawFest & Open Day on Saturday 18 August.

 Prize Categories

1. 18 years and under
2. Over 18 years

Winners from each category will receive an iPad 3 and an A3 Giclee printed museum quality canvas of their winning entry, proudly sponsored by Cie-Elle. All competitors are eligible to receive a 20% discount off the list price for a Giclee printed museum quality canvas as follows:

• Discounted Price A4 - $48+GST
• Discounted Price A3 - $60+GST  

Judging

• All entries will be displayed on the HUNGRY FOR ART webpage of the City of Ryde website from the time of entry until 31 August.
• 50 photographs will be selected by a professional photographer for display and printed in A4 format and mounted by FAIM (festival organiser). FAIM reserves the right to select the type of mounting.

• The 50 finalists and two winners will be selected by contemporary art photographer Geoff Kleem and exhibited at the Hungry for Art DrawFest & Open Day on Saturday 18 August.
