Creative Spaces

  • Are you an arts tutor looking for a teaching venue?
  • Are you an artist looking for exhibition space?
  • Are you part of a drama group looking for rehearsal or tuition space?
  • Are you a musician, group or even an orchestra looking for a place to rehearse or perform?
  • Or perhaps you’re looking for a venue for hosting a cultural event?

Whatever your interest in the arts and culture, on these pages you’ll find a selection of venues in the City of Ryde area offering quality spaces that are specially suited to arts and cultural activities. Some are very accessible, within easy reach of transport, cafes and shops while others are in picturesque and secluded locations for those needing to get away and create in some quiet space.

All are reasonably priced as Council has negotiated with the venues for a cost recovery price for arts groups. Many of the venues also offer optional extras like stages and dressing rooms, audio-visual systems and other specialist equipment like dance mirrors or hanging mechanisms for artworks.

Contact details and, where available, websites and maps are provided for each site. Get in touch with the venue operators directly to find out more, check availability or arrange a site visit.
