Vacation Care
Council has fun, affordable, quality, creative programs during the school holiday periods for children aged 5 - 12 years. Our services operate similar to child care services as they are accredited through and operated under the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) guidelines.
Gladesville Kids Club
Council operates the Gladesville Kids Club for 5 - 12 years at Gladesville Public School, Victoria Rd, Gladesville.
Hours
- 7.30am - 6pm.
- Vacation Care does not operate on public holidays.
Fees
- $36 per child per day.
- Fee assistance is available through the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.
- YOU MUST REGISTER with one of our services at the Family Assistance Office BEFORE enrolling in Vacation Care.

Who can attend?

Children enrolled and attending Primary School are eligible to attend Vacation Care.

We have children from both public and private schools in the area attending.

Children with additional needs are welcome to apply. Please provide at least 6 weeks notice as special funding arrangements may need to be made if your child cannot be integrated into the program within the staff ratio of 1:15.
Bookings

Places fill quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.

A late fee applies for bookings received after the closing date.

Children with allergies, asthma and other conditions are required to submit additional documents with enrolment.
Outside School Care Accreditation
The National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) has determined that Council's Vacation Care is accredited in accordance with Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance (OSHCQA). This is the result of submitting a detailed self study report in January 2011, a validation visit in January 2011 and feedback provided from parents, children and staff.
