Grand Parade

The entertainment kicks off at 9.30am with a 2,000-strong Grand Street Parade celebrating our creative community. The streets of Eastwood are transformed into a swirling sea of colour and sound featuring marching bands, community floats, street performers, dancers and the Festival’s ‘Sweetie Pie’ mascot.

Dance Generation Studios
Offers fun and challenging classes to keep you fit, while improving your dancing and hip hop abilities.

Mayor, MPs and Vintage Cars
Fabulous vintage cars transporting the newly elected City of Ryde mayor, Councillor Roy Maggio, local members of Parliament and The Weekly Times Festival Queen entrants.

JDance Performance Studio
Marsfield based performing arts school. 

AJH Sport 
Teaches basic essential sport skills to children of all ages. 

R.G. Music
Entertainer Roseanna Gallo, received a Order of Australia Medal for services to the community through her music.

Marist College Eastwood Band
The College Band is a large ensemble consisting of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. They cover a wide range of musical styles.  

Australian Air League
Band and marching team from members of the Epping, Hornsby, Five Dock and Manly squadrons.
