Bargain hunters won’t be disappointed with the treats and treasures to be found at the 280 street stalls including plants, paintings, furniture, books, bags, jewellery and much more! Food stalls with delicious and diverse foods to suit every member of the family will be consumed with gusto. Munch on an apple pie or gobble up a gozleme. There’ll be fruit frappes, satay sticks, noodles, nuts, stir-fries and sizzling sausages – plus fairy floss and toffee apples.
If you plan on snapping up a bargain or two, make sure you bring your own reusable bags!
The Granny Smith Festival stall has all the info you need to plan your day! Located on Hillview Road, friendly volunteers can provide you with Festival directions and program information. Here you can also slip-slop-slap with complimentary sunscreen and receive your free Festival sun visor (limited to first 5000).
There will be delicious apple inspired recipe cards and the winners and finalists of our ‘Who’s Your Granny?’ competition will be on display. For fun and games be sure to pop by and say hello to Granny Smith and ‘Sweetie Pie’ the Festival Mascot.
Grab a happy snap with your family or friends in our on-site photo booth and help us create our very own ‘Granny Smith Family (Photo) Tree’. Visit the City of Ryde Stall on Rowe Street to add your photo to the tree PLUS take a copy home as your Festival souvenir!
Come along to a recycling truck demonstration to find out what you can and can’t recycle in your household. Children will get a great opportunity to see how recycling bins are collected by our local garbage truck driver.
