Linen Service

  • Linen Service Assistant - Deliver clean linen for people with a disability, make beds and collect used linen for return.

  • Car Driver - to transport clients to and from medical appointments.
  • Bus Driver - for outings - to pick up/drop off clients to their homes and assist them on and off the bus.
  • Bus Driver - for shopping - transport clients on shopping trips.

Friendly Visitors

  • Home Visiting Volunteer - visiting lonely people in their home to provide companionship. Weekly, fortnightly or as appropriate.

Shopping & Outing Assistance

  • Shopping Volunteer - shop with client at agreed time and also provide companionship to to client for specified time. Weekly or fortnightly.
  • Transport Volunteer - to assist with Seniors social bus outings (one day weekly/fortnightly).

Gardeners

  • Gardener - creating low maintenance gardens and general gardening duties for frail aged and disabled pensioners 3-6 hrs/week.
  • Gardening Team Leader - lead a team creating low maintenance gardens and undertaking general gardening duties for frail aged and disabled pensioners 3-6hrs/week.

Luncheon Hosts

  • Luncheon Volunteer - prepare venue, heat and serve meals at day care centre.
  • Men's Lunch - help with setting up and serving of hot meals. Socialise with clients and encourage participation in activities at lunch. Wednesdays 11am - 3pm.

Meals on Wheels

  • Volunteer Driver / Volunteer Runner - to deliver Meals on Wheels.

Activities & Support Workers

  • Volunteer Support Workers - for frail aged clients - to assist in various roles such as:
    • preparation of meals
    • implementing the activities program
    • assisting with clients at the Centre and on outings.
  • Men's Club - facilitate a group of up to 6 older members - assist clients when needed, prepare and serve afternoon tea and assist with activities such as gardening and discussion groups.
