Volunteer with Ryde SES

Ryde State Emergency Service offers rewarding volunteering opportunities to community members. SES volunteers come from all walks of life and there are many roles that an SES volunteer can participate in, regardless of age, gender or ability.

Volunteers are utilised in the rescue, operations and catering/logistics areas. They get access to a range of skill building activities, nationally recognised training, opportunities to develop friendships and of course being able to give back to the community.

Volunteers are also visible when responding to incidents as a result of flooding and storms as well their contribution at key community events such as the local Granny Smith Festival, Australia Day Fireworks and Carols in North Ryde Common.

For more information on volunteering call 132500 and ask to speak with the Recruitment and Membership Officer or visit the SES website or watch the video on You Tube.
