to be part of the Working Team
The Ryde Youth Music Program (RYMP) is a new initiative for young people aged 12 - 25 years to develop and learn about music and the music industry. This program was developed following the success of music workshops held over the past two years and the ongoing popularity of music events such as the annual Battle of the Bands competition and The Core Youth Precinct at the annual Granny Smith Festival.
What are we all about?
RYMP is about providing the opportunity for youth to create, manage and present their own musical productions. We aim to enable young people to explore any and all musical visions they may have dreamed about creating, but never had the confidence to achieve by themselves
Get involved
We are putting together a Working Team of young people who will be responsible for planning and implementing the various events and workshops - this means we need you!
We're looking for volunteers to join the team. Whether you're interested in production, performance, management or sound engineering - we have a role for you.
All you need to give is a few hours of your time each week to come along to meetings and help to develop projects that will inspire all types of young musicians in our local area. You'll be part of something truly amazing and you'll build valuable skills in the music industry.
Interested in getting involved? Fill in the online registration form.
