Planning and Environment Committee

The Planning & Environment Committee deals with issues affecting the built environment and public health matters. For example, the Committee considers and determines many planning matters such as local development applications and reviews environmental enforcement matters such as issuing of orders to prevent illegal building or demolition works.

The meetings are held:

  • 3rd Tuesday of January (if considered necessary by the Mayor and General Manager)
  • 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the months February to November inclusive
  • 1st Tuesday of December
  • at 4pm at the Committee Room 2 and 3, 5th Floor, Civic Centre.
