The primary role of the Arts Advisory Committee is to progress arts and culture within the City of Ryde.
The primary role of the Festival and Events Advisory committee is to provide advice and feedback on the delivery and development of festivals and events in the City of Ryde. Find out more and Register your Interest.
The Bicycle Advisory Committee advises Council on all matters relating to cycling in the City of Ryde.
The BEAC provides advice to Council on the management of biodiversity, natural areas including waterways, habitat corridors and sustainability issues and initiatives.
Provide advice to Council to ensure that Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) residents in the City of Ryde are able to participate actively in all aspects of community and civic life.
The primary role of EDAC is to provide direction and support to assist and guide Council in implementation of the City of Ryde Economic Development Strategy.
Advise and assist Council to promote, conserve and celebrate places that are of natural, indigenous, cultural, social, aesthetic and/or historic significance within the City of Ryde.
Provide high level strategic and industry input in areas such as transport, marketing urban development and sustainability.
Advise Council regarding priorities for the development and implementation of strategic programs and policies to promote the uptake of renewable energy technologies, services and other resilient energy efficient initiatives.
Provide advocacy for the needs of young people and belong to a committee that provides a mechanism for their participation and involvement in decision making on community issues.
Provides advice to Council to ensure that all residents and visitors to the City of Ryde are able to participate actively in all aspects of community and civic life, and that Council recognises and values the diversity of its community
Foster the appreciation, development and maintenance of sporting and recreational facilities, clubs and opportunities in City of Ryde, and to act as a central point of communication between Council and the sporting and recreational groups in the LGA.
Provide advice to Council on improving the ways in which women in the City of Ryde are able to participate and engage actively in all aspects of community and civic life.
