Ryde's Bold Celebration of International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD), the City of Ryde’s Status of Women’s Advisory Committee is holding a ‘Be Bold For Change’ Forum on Thursday, 9 March 2017 at Eden Gardens, 307 Lane Cove Road, Macquarie Park, (10.00 am – 2.00pm.)

The IWD Forum highlights the City of Ryde’s commitment to supporting women’s leadership in taking on the challenges that face women in the community. The Forum will be informative, interactive and entertaining with a mix of experienced guest speakers, panel members, panel session and workshops. There will also be an art display and live performance.

Guest speakers include Dr Brindha Shivalingham - neurosurgeon and founder of Brainstorm charity; and Julia Zaetta - acclaimed Editor of Better Homes and Gardens.

Be part of this celebration of women’s achievements and how tackling common and individual challenges in medicine, business and the community benefits society as a whole.
