A specialist support service for planning, development and business

As part of our commitment to improving customer service, the Council has launched the Ryde Planning and Business Centre, offering specialised planning, development and business services.

The Ryde Planning and Business Centre will provide services for residents, building professionals, business operators and investors.

• Viewing of notification and exhibition material
• Search of historical documents.

Book a planning or development appointment
To ensure that every client has access to the appropriate staff and plenty of time to discuss their planning or development matter, the new Centre will operate on an appointment basis. Customers will be able to discuss their planning and development needs on a one-to-one basis with specialised staff in a comfortable, modern office environment.

Business Services and Support

Council's Economic Development Manager and the Ryde Business Forum can provide access to the following services:

• A wide range of information on the Ryde economy
• Information and membership details on the Ryde Business Forum
• Information and membership details on all local Chambers of Commerce
• Networking opportunities and events
• Various workshops on running a business
• Information on Council regulations
• Information on government incentives and business support programs.

For business networking opportunities or to join a chamber of commerce, a representative from Ryde Business Forum will be available from 10am - 2pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or by phoning 9952 8498.

For information on the Ryde economy and other initiatives, a meeting can be arranged with Council’s Economic Development Manager by completing the following online booking form.
