Sustainable Business
Council in collaboration with Sydney Water and the Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH), is helping local businesses target water and energy efficiency and waste management.
The ‘Sustainable Businesses in Ryde’ initiative offers assessments of your business’s water use, energy use and waste generation to help you improve resource efficiency and cut costs.
What do you get?
- Free water use assessment and water monitoring of your business. These assessments outline the most cost-effective options to boost water efficiency in your business.
- Energy use assessment and energy monitoring through an OEH energy assessment.
- Free waste assessment, outlining the most cost-effective options for reducing waste generation.
- A simple action plan to help you implement the recommendations of these assessments.
- Ongoing advice, access to the latest technologies in your industry and assistance with funding retrofits.
Read some case studies.
Who is eligible?
Businesses in the City of Ryde that consume 10,000 - 80,000 litres of water per day (equivalent to 3,650 - 29,000 kilolitres per year).
Check your water bill - if you use that quantity of water and your bill is between $7,000 and $105,000 per year then we are keen to help you.
