ANZAC Day Commemoration Service

Since 1916 Anzac Day has marked the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces (the Anzacs) during the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War.

This year Council will be holding a commemorative service for the community at Anzac Park.

The service will include the unveiling of the 'Remembrance Walk' with 12 new commemorative plaques highlighting the history and involvement of the residents of Ryde during WWI.
