Remembrance Day Service

Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914 - 1918).  Each year Australians observe one minute silence at 11.00 am on 11 November, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

The City of Ryde will be marking Remembrance Day with a commemorative service. Gathering at Ryde Cenotaph from 10.30 am for a 10.45 am start, the Remembrance Day Commemorative Service will finish at approximately 11.15 am followed by morning tea in Ryde Park.

All members of the community are welcome to attend.

Lest we forget.
