How to navigate the draft Plan 

The draft Plan has two parts:

1. A written document draft Ryde LEP 2008
2. Maps – 64 Maps which comply with the technical requirements for Local Environmental Plan Mapping. These are in pdf format and have a page size of A3 Landscape. Most maps have been broken into 10 tiles.

How do I find a property? 

1. Locate the property by checking this map sheet
2. Note the map sheet number for your property (eg. 101). The map sheet number will be the same for the property for all maps within the Draft LEP 2008.
3. With this map sheet number, check the map sheet for the Land Zoning Map (eg. LZN 101) to find out the zoning of the land. The legend tells you the zone name eg. R1 General Residential. 
4. Go to the written document draft Ryde LEP 2008 to see what is permitted in that zone in the Land Use Table page 12.
5. Using your map sheet number, check the map sheet for the Floor Space Ratio Map (eg. FSR 101) and map sheet for Height of Buildings Map (eg. HOB 101) to see what size of building is permitted.
6. For all other controls and information view the maps below and refer to the relevant clause in the Draft Ryde Local Environmental Plan 2008 - Written document.
