Council Services through the Libraries
The City of Ryde is now expanding resident access to Council services though its network of libraries.
With the exception of matters relating to development, residents can now access a range of services and information previously only available from the Civic Centre.
A Council Kiosk (dedicated computer) is available at each branch library for resident access to Council information and to make payments online. All library staff have been trained in Council services and will be able to assist you with your enquiries.
Payments for Council services can be made at the libraries by cheque, money order, Mastercard and Visa (merchant fees apply). Please note, however, that cash payments cannot be accepted at the libraries.

A series of wine and cheese evenings at West Ryde Library - 2 Graf Avenue, West Ryde Last Thursday of every month - 6.00pm to 7.30pm Bookings open 1st of each month - Some workshops have limited numbers! Enquiries: 9952 8376 - Age restrictions apply!
November 26 - "Australian Culture for Chinese People", (Chinese version), presented by Jinru Zhu and Jeannine Gardiner. Primarily aimed at Chinese speakers, this bilingual presentation by library staff Jinru Zhu and Jeannine Gardiner will cover topics such as Australian values, culture and beliefs. Please join us as we explore the difference between Chinese and Australians.

Knitting for Wrap With Love

Pre-school Storytime
Storytime includes stories, videos, poetry, songs and / or arts and craft selected according to the audience. The sessions are aimed at children aged 2 to 5 years. Held: Every Wednesday and Friday at 11.00am (except during school holidays)

Readers' Group at West Ryde Library
For interested readers wanting to discuss favourite authors, fiction book awards, and biographies. Meets: 2nd Thursday of the month at 10.00am for approx. 1 hour. Discussion group with morning tea.

Ryde Rockers Rhyme Time
