RYDE LIBRARY SERVICES
FAMILY HISTORY - GENEALOGY
 


The Family History collection is held at Ryde Library and contains an extensive collection of genealogical tools on CD-ROM, microfiche and microfilm.
The collection includes birth, death, and marriage records for the Australian states. Early immigration and convict records, cemetery transcripts and pioneer records for various areas.

The Family History Room is open during the following hours and bookings need to be made to use the equipment.

Cemeteries in the Ryde area -

Indexes to the headstones and inscriptions at each of these cemeteries, and other cemeteries, are available to view at Ryde Library. A large number of the indexes are only available in microform, and will require the use of readers. Bookings need to be made to use the equipment.
