Membership is offered to all who can produce current acceptable verification of their name and residential address. Membership is free.
Members are required to comply with the conditions of Ryde Library Services and the provisions of the NSW Library Act 1939, as amended, and its Regulations.

To become a member of the library

Acceptable forms of identification must be presented. It must include both your full name and current residential address, and a current date. The details must be printed, NOT hand written.
For children's memberships the parent / guardians signature is required.

	Electricity Account (current)		Transport Concession Cards (current)

	Telephone Account (current)		Other official bills / accounts and documents with current residential address (current)
	Rent Receipts / Lease Documents (current)

You may join the library online, via Join online on the Library Catalogue. You must read accepted the membership conditions provided when you follow this link, to activate the registration page. A temporary library membership number will be provided. Full registration needs to be completed when you next visit the library, and proof of identity provided.
