The Community Prayer Breakfast is a celebration of the Christian faith within our community. It has been an annual event since the City of Ryde’s bicentenary celebrations in 1992.

The 18th annual Prayer Breakfast was held on Friday 14th August 2009. Special guest speaker was the Salvation Army's Lt-Col Miriam Gluyas, who discussed the topic 'Freedom isn't free: it costs', exploring the many ways that people and nations in our world are suffering. She also shared stories of hope for these troubled times.
