St Charles' Cemetery, on two acres of the Cleves Estate, was consecrated by Archbishop Polding in 1856, the first interment being that of Fr Charles Mathieu on the 24th May of the same year.
The Cemetery closed c.1916 though there was an interment 16 October, 1919.
