The Companion Card allows people who have a significant and lifelong disability to take a carer on public transport and to recreational activities and events at affiliated organisations for the price of a single ticket.
City of Ryde is an affiliate of this scheme.
To participate in the scheme you need to register and show your card when buying tickets or paying entry fees.

City of Ryde accepts the companion card for all Council events and activities including:
- Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre
- City of Ryde Library events
- Council run workshops and events
