October Road Safety Operation

Speeding, drink driving and mobile phone use will be targeted by NSW Police this month.

With the road toll mounting, the Operation will be targeting the primary contributing factors to road trauma in an effort to curb the number of causalities on our roads. 

The Eastwood and Gladesville Local Area Commands will be running the operation from 6 October to 31 October 2009.

Police are urging local residents to be on their best behaviour, to stay safe and enjoy their community safely.
