International Women's Day Art Prize and Exhibition
The International Women's Day art competition and exhibition celebrates the achievements of artists who live, work, study or play in the City of Ryde.
Entries were invited in all art forms which reflected this year's local International Women's Day theme Selfless Acts.
Over 200 pieces of art works were submitted, of which 103 were chosen for exhibition.
Open to artists who identify as a professional or practicing full-time artist 18 years and over.

Highly Commended: Suzanne Davey - A Thousand Steps
Open to members of the community who, do not (yet) identify as a professional artist, 18 years and over. This category encourages those who study art, practice art as a hobby, or as part of a community group.

Highly Commended: Elisabeth Thomas - Food on the Table
Open to members of the community who identify as a student, hobby artist or professional artist between the age of 16 and 25.

People's Choice Award
Open to all applicants who are selected for the exhibition in any category. Audiences will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork in the exhibition.
The People's Choice award will be announced at the end of the exhibition.
