Each school holidays City of Ryde hosts a variety of activities and programs to keep our local kids busy.

Vacation Care at Gladesville Kids Club

Council has fun, affordable, quality, creative programs during the school holiday periods for children aged 5 - 12 years. Our services operate similar to child care services as they are accredited through and operated under the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) guidelines. Activities at City of Ryde libraries

Each holiday there is a theme, with lots of activities including crafts, story times and singalongs. Participants must have their own Library Membership Card to book. Program available one month prior.

Holiday Intensive Swim Program at RALC

Consecutive days of ‘Learn to Swim’ lessons rapidly develop skills and confidence in swimmers. Specific skills programs for butterfly and breaststroke development, as well as the unique ‘Take Your Marks’ program (learning racing techniques for starts, turns and finishes) are also available. 

Program Dates:

• Monday 2 July - Friday 6 July
• Monday 9 July - Friday 13 July

Guided Walk for Kids

City of Ryde runs a guided walks program throughout the year, with special events during the school holidays. More information available soon.
