Top Ryde Shopping Centre Redevelopment
Local Development Application No. 585/2008 seeks approval for the construction of two residential flat buildings (Buildings B & F) above the Top Ryde Shopping Centre redevelopment together with the formal allocation of car parking spaces within the Centre and the installation of landscaping works on the podium. 

The proposed development comprises 2 out of 5 residential flat buildings above the Centre which were conceptually approved by Council within the previously notified Local Development Application 672/2006 for the Top Ryde Shopping Centre.  The three remaining residential flat buildings will be subject to future development applications.

Residential Building B (located in the middle of the site) is to include 106 apartments within 10 storeys while residential Building F (located in the south eastern side of the site) is to include 79 apartments within 10 storeys.

The land on which this Development Application is proposed to be carried out is:

  • 2A Tucker Street, Ryde – Lots 6 & 7 DP24237

The Development Application is not 'designated development' under the terms of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, and the City of Ryde is the authority responsible for the determination of the application.

Submissions regarding the Development Application closed on 16 October 2008.

The City of Ryde has resolved that all submissions received in relation to rezoning and development applications will be publicly accessible on request.  The supply of personal information is voluntary.  However if you choose to make an anonymous submission it may be given less weight (or no weight) in the overall consideration of the application.
