Top Ryde Shopping Centre Redevelopment
Local Development Application No. 169/2009 seeks approval for the construction of two 4 storey commercial towers above the approved Top Ryde Shopping Centre including the allocation of car parking. These towers were conceptually approved by Council within the previously notified Local Development Application 672/2006 for the Top Ryde Shopping Centre.

The land on which this Development Application is proposed to be carried out is:

  • 109-129 Blaxland Road, Ryde (Lot 1 in DP 1134255)

The Development Application is not 'designated development' under the terms of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, and the City of Ryde is the authority responsible for the determination of the application.

Submissions regarding the Development Application closed on 28 May 2009.

Anyone may make submissions concerning this application.  Submissions are required to be in writing, and should the submission be by way of objection to the proposal, the submission should specify the grounds of objection.  They should be addressed to the General Manager and forwarded to City of Ryde, Locked Bag 2069, North Ryde NSW 1670.

The City of Ryde has resolved that all submissions received in relation to rezoning and development applications will be publicly accessible on request.  The supply of personal information is voluntary.  However if you choose to make an anonymous submission it may be given less weight (or no weight) in the overall consideration of the application.
