To build on last year’s Regional NSROC State of the Environment Report (RSoER), the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC) representing Hornsby Shire, Hunter’s Hill, Ku-ring-gai, North Sydney, Lane Cove, City of Ryde, and Willoughby City Councils has produced a supplementary RSoER (pdf 4mb) this year.
The City Of Ryde was integrally involved in the process and this year has again produced its own edition of the Regional SoER to highlight Ryde (pdf 4mb) achievements and show how the City of Ryde is working towards and planning for sustainability in its management strategies. This edition is intended to build on last year’s City of Ryde Edition.
Both the RSoER 2006/07 and City Of Ryde Edition 2006/07 should be read in conjunction with one another and with previous SoER’s to serve as building blocks for the next comprehensive report due in a few years.
The City Of Ryde is interested in receiving comments or suggestions from its local community on the way it has been reporting on the State of the Environment and on ways it can improve the level and type of reporting in future years. Particular comments on this year’s City of Ryde SoER 2006/07 will be most welcomed.
