 Water Quality Monitoring Working Group

Functions of the Working Group

The Water Quality Monitoring Steering Committee was established in 2004 and was endorsed as a Working Group at Council on 8 September 2009. The Working Group's role is to guide the development, implementation, review and reporting processes of the City’s Water Quality Monitoring Strategy so that:

  • A structured and effective ongoing monitoring system for selected study sites is provided; and
  • Water quality monitoring results support creek management strategies and assist in the selection of the most appropriate creek restoration and rehabilitation work.
