Review of Parking Measures in Sobraon Road, Marsfield

Consultation closed on 10 December 2017

In March 2017, delineation linemarkings were installed at driveways in Sobraon Road and in August 2017 a ‘BUS ZONE 8.30AM-3.30PM MON-FRI MAY-SEP’ was installed outside Dunbar Park.  These measures are currently being reviewed and we would like your feedback.

Why were these measures installed?

City of Ryde received requests to address the parking overspill from nearby construction sites.  The driveway linemarkings were installed to improve access to residents’ off-street parking, and the Bus Zone was installed to provide a dedicated bus drop-off/pick-up area for athletics carnivals at Dunbar Park.  Given that residential properties in this area have access to off-street parking, the street does not meet the requirement for a Resident Parking Scheme.
