Council has received the following Major Development Applications as published in Northern District Times Newspaper.

MAJOR DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS

Local Development Application No. LDA2017/0014 - Amended 
Applicant: Bureau SRH
Description: Amended application for the demolition of existing buildings, the construction of a part 4/part 6 & part 7 storey mixed use development and landscape works. The basement comprises 3 levels containing parking for 69 vehicles. The ground floor comprises 3 commercial tenancies and 2 residential apartments. The upper floors are residential  and accommodate 30 apartments.
The development is Integrated Development under the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 as it will require temporary dewatering. The relevant approval body is Water NSW.

Local Development Application No. LDA2016/0395 (AMENDED PLANS)
Applicant: Greenland (Sydney) Lachlan’s Line Macquarie Park Development Pty Ltd
Description: Amended plans have been received in response to a request made by the Sydney North Planning Panel for the above application which seeks approval for the construction of a mixed use development at Lots 104 and105 in DP 1224238, Nos 25 – 27 Epping Road, Macquarie Park, North Ryde (known as ‘Lachlan’s Line’).
The amendments aim to improve solar performance and involve the transfer of two storeys from Buildings J and K on Lot 105 to Buildings L3 and M on Lot 104.

Applicant: John Holland Macquarie Park Custodians Pty Ltd
Description: Construction of an eleven storey mixed use building comprising retail and commercial components as well as 359 car spaces over 2 basement levels, landscaping and road works.
The application will be referred to the Sydney North Planning Panel constituted under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 for determination as the capital investment value exceeds $20 million.

Making Submissions

Anyone may make submissions concerning these applications. Submissions are required to be in writing, and should the submission be by way of objection to the proposal, the submission should specify the grounds of objection. All correspondence should be addressed to the General Manager and can be sent by:

Council has resolved that all submissions received in relation to rezoning and development applications will be publicly accessible on request.

The supply of personal information is voluntary. However if you choose to make an anonymous submission it may be given less weight (or no weight) in the overall consideration of the application.

STATE SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS

There are no State Significant Projects on exhibition at this time. 

 

State Significant Projects are assessed and determined by the Department of Planning under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.
