The City of Ryde owns the commercial and residential space on the corner of Victoria Road and Church Street.
Two of these spaces are leased and the third is dilapidated and not fit for habitation.
On 9 December 2014 council resolved to further develop 741-747 Victoria Road Ryde comprising of residential, commercial and retail mix in accordance with the existing planning guidelines and zoning (maximum height of 20 metres)
This development will be not be sold, it is designed to generate significant ongoing income for Council through rental accommodation.
This income is to support Council’s commitment to creating an ongoing revenue stream to complement its long term financial viability.
