Draft Code of Meeting Practice 2016

Consultation closed on 10 November 2016

City of Ryde Council is seeking community comment for the changes to its draft Code of Meeting Practice (the Code) which governs the way the City of Ryde conducts Council and Committee meetings, up until Thursday 10 November 2016.

The Code sets standards for the calling, conduct and recording of Council and Committee meetings, ensuring the structure and process provides fair opportunities for all interested parties to contribute.

What are the key changes to the Code?

This draft Code has been updated to address changes to the venue of Council and Committees meetings, as a result of Council ceasing to occupy the Civic Centre on Devlin Street, Ryde.

Council and Committee meetings will now be held at Level 1A, 1 Pope Street, Ryde.
