  • Consumer Health Complete - contains full text articles covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. Topics include aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs and alcohol, fitness, nutrition and dietetics, children's health and men and women's health.

  • FreeMedicalJournals.com - Free Medical Journals is dedicated to the promotion of free access to medical journals over the Internet.
  • Health Finder - a free gateway to reliable consumer health and human services information developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Health and Wellness Resource Centre and Alternative Health Module - this database provides access to magazines, journals, newspapers, definitions, directories for reliable information on fitness, pregnancy, medicine, nutrition, diseases, public health, occupational health and safety, alcohol and drug abuse, prescription drugs, herbal remedies, and alternative or complementary treatments etc. Included are links to diet, cancer, and health assessment sites as well as government databases. The database has a wide range of information from basic definitions to articles in professional medical journals, and includes detailed information about prescription drugs and even recipes for diabetics.

  • Intelihealth - information and useful tools from the Harvard Medical School and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
  • Internet Mental Health
  • Kidshealth - providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence.
  • Mayo Clinic - provides access to health information with the purpose of helping people manage illness and stay healthy.
  • MedicineNet - an online, healthcare media publishing company. It provides easy-to-read, in-depth, authoritative medical information for consumers via its robust, user-friendly, interactive web site.
  • MEDLINEplus Health Information - this service provides access to extensive information about specific diseases and conditions and also has links to consumer health information from the National Institutes of Health, dictionaries, lists of hospitals and physicians, health information in Spanish and other languages, and clinical trials.
