JOINING THE LIBRARY

Membership is offered to all who can produce acceptable verification of their name and residential address.
Membership is free.
Members are required to comply with the conditions of Ryde Library Services and the provisions of the NSW Library Act 1939, as amended, and its Regulations.

To become a member of the library

Acceptable forms of identification must be presented. It must include both your full name and current residential address, and a current date. The details must be printed, NOT hand written.
For children's memberships the parent / guardians signature is required.
The following forms of identification can be used as a guide:

	Electoral Cards (current)		Pension Cards (current)
	Electricity Account (current)		Transport Concession Cards (current)
	Gas Account (current)		Blind Citizens Australia Card
	Water Account (current)		Credit Card Statement (current)
	Telephone Account (current)		Other official bills / accounts and documents with current residential address (current)
	Rent Receipts / Lease Documents (current)
