         Friday, 17 April 2009

A new child’s playground, picnic area and renewed sporting fields at Eastwood Park (upper area) will officially open on Saturday 2 May, 10.00am – 12 noon, with free children’s activities and sausage sizzle.

“These new family-friendly facilities are already attracting increased numbers of local residents to Eastwood Park,” says the Mayor, Clr Vic Tagg.  “The new pathways, lighting and improvements to parking areas make the park more accessible and safer for everyone.  So, come along and join us at these free celebrations.”

  • Over 1 km of new pathways.
