HOW TO GROW YOUR HOME-BASED BUSINESS Home-Based Business Week Seminar

Local home-based business operators can learn how to sharpen their skills and grow their business when the City of Ryde presents a free seminar on Friday 23 May as part of NSW Home-Based Business Week. 

“There are over 300 home-based businesses in our local area, who contribute significantly to our local economy.  This free seminar offers them, and potential new operators, the chance to hear expert speakers, ask questions, network and learn practical tips to improve and grow their business,” says City of Ryde’s Economic Development Manager, Paul William-Smith.

 “This is a great opportunity for establish contacts and learn about advances in e-marketing, pitching skills, exporting from home and much more.” 

Central to the seminar are presentations from NSW State & Regional Development and two successful local home-based businesses:

  • Pamela Jones, Director The Environmental Type – sustainable business service provider
  • Stefan Sojka, Creative Director Cyrius Media Group - multi media
