HAVE YOUR SAY ON FUTURE HOUSING
Friday, April 18, 2008

As our city grows, what kinds of houses, streets, parks, shops and transport networks will be needed, and how will they all fit together to create a liveable and sustainable city?

You can have your say on the best ways to house our growing population over the next 25 years at a community workshop on Wednesday 30 April.  Discussion points will include:

• What are the housing needs of Ryde’s residents now and into the future?
• What types of housing should be built?
• Where should these homes be located?

Council is particularly keen to hear from those people who might not normally share their ideas or get involved in planning projects.  This is your chance to talk with other community members about issues and ideas for future housing in Ryde, so please come along.

Workshop details: Wed 30 April 2008, 6.00-9.00 pm, Level 5, Ryde Civic Centre, 1 Devlin Street.  A light supper will be served, so please call 9952 8222 by Wed 23 April if you would like to participate.

You can also have your say on Council’s website at www.ryde.nsw.gov.au.  It will take no more than ten minutes to fill in the feedback form, and your views will be invaluable in planning for the future of our city.
