The National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) has determined that the City of Ryde Vacation Care is Accredited in accordance with Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance (OSHCQA). This is the result of submitting a detailed self study report in August 2005, a validation visit in January 2006 and feedback provided from parents, children and staff.

Allergies, Asthma and other conditions

You need to inform staff if your child:

  • Suffers from mild to moderate allergies
  • Suffers from severe allergies (anaphylaxis)
  • Suffers from specific food allergies eg. nuts or eggs
  • Suffers from asthma
  • Suffers from any other medical condition

Please Note: Parents should check their child's lunch to ensure no ingredients contain traces of nuts.

You need to provide an action plan which would inform staff on how to manage any allergic reactions or asthma attacks. Listed below are examples of action plans that you may use and tailor to fit your needs:

The action plan(s) is to be attached to the enrolment and booking form.
