Venture Café is going digital for now.
Considering the current COVID-19 situation, Venture Café Thursday Gatherings will be online for the foreseeable future starting 5 March 2020.
Council is working with the Macquarie Park business community to build a thriving innovation district, with entrepreneurship at its heart. One way it is doing this is through Venture Café, which was founded in Boston in 2009 with the aim to build an innovation community. Venture Café has since expanded to include other world cities such as St. Louis, Rotterdam, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Miami and Winston-Salem.
Venture Café Sydney is the eighth and newest member of a Venture Cafe Global network. City of Ryde is a foundation partner of Venture Café Sydney and has committed its supports over three years until 2020-21. Council is delighted that Macquarie Park was chosen as the venue for this exciting initiative.
Venture Café delivers a weekly Thursday Gathering program to connect innovators and entrepreneurs. It creates intentional spaces for individuals and organisations to gather, connect and build relationships.
Venture Café is open to all and meets every Thursday between 3.00pm and 8.00pm at 58 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park. However, given the current COVID-19 situation, gatherings will be held online for the foreseeable future and until future notice.
