Falls from Windows

Over the past 10 years there have been 89 children admitted to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead after falling from windows.

Almost all of these children fell from a window in their own home.  The injuries resulting from these types of falls range from cuts and bruises to head injuries, broken limbs and even death.

Boys aged 0 - 4 years are over-represented in the statistics.

Visit your local hardware and baby store for practical window limiting solutions for households.

It is easy, cheap and could save your child from serious harm or death.
