Meadowbank Bridge, also known locally as the ‘John Whitton Bridge’ will be temporarily closed for pedestrian access between 9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday 10 February 2023.
Council has partnered with the Intercultural Network Ryde Area to produce a multi-lingual Welcome Guide for Asylum Seekers & Refugees(PDF, 7MB) to the City of Ryde. The City of Ryde was declared a Refugee Welcome Zone in 2013. The 27-page Welcome Guide is designed to help asylum seekers and refugees enjoy and participate in what the City of Ryde has to offer. It will also act as a guide for community service providers to access information and contacts for newly arrived clients.
