Ryde Youth Theatre
Newcomers are welcome to come along to a session to give it a try for free!
Ryde Youth Theatre offers a space for young people aged 8 - 26 to explore creativity, build confidence, learn new skills and make new friends.
Through weekly workshops, we will delve into various aspects of drama and performance, with a focus on collaboration and developing ideas for performance. Together we will create an original work to be performed to the public in October each year. No previous experience is necessary.
The workshops are facilitated by established practising artists from Shopfront Arts Co-op, with experience in various disciplines including playwriting, devising, film and movement.
Ryde Youth Theatre is a program delivered by the City of Ryde in partnership with Shopfront Arts Co-op.
