Published on 09 September 2020

On 8 September 2020 and 9 September 2020, NSW Health advised that anyone who attended the following venues in the City of Ryde is considered a casual contact of a confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) case and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if any symptoms develop. Following testing, NSW Health advises that you must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received:

  • Charles St Kitchen, 78 Charles Street Putney, on Saturday 5 September between 10.45am - 11.30am
  • Eastwood Ryde Netball Association, Meadowbank Park, Adelaide Street Meadowbank, on Saturday 5 September between 12.15pm - 1.30pm.
  • Macquarie Shopping Centre, including Food Court, Coco Tea, Myer, Time Zone and Tommy Gun’s Barbershop, Macquarie Park, on Saturday 5 September between 2:00pm - 5:00pm.

Some people who attended the Eastwood Ryde Netball Association event were close contacts and have been contacted directly to get tested and isolate for 14 days.

Locations linked to known cases, advice on testing and isolation, and areas identified for increased testing can be found at the NSW Health update page.
