Changes to parking enforcement

The City of Ryde has announced temporary changes to its parking enforcement guidelines during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Given that many residents are currently working-from-home or adhering to advice from authorities to stay at home where possible, no parking enforcement will be undertaken by Council in time-limited parking zones that are signposted as green regulatory zones.
The only exception to this is in metered areas within the Macquarie Park Precinct, where tickets are still required to be purchased and displayed.
Council rangers will continue to take action where vehicles are parked over driveways or where they pose a public safety risk.
All parking areas signposted as red regulatory zones - for example No Stopping, No Standing and Loading Zones - will continue to be enforced.
