Open to artists who identify as a professional or practicing full-time artist 18 years and over.

Community Category

Open to members of the community who, do not (yet) identify as a professional artist, 18 years and over. This category encourages those who study art, practice art as a hobby or as part of a community group.
Prize: $1,000

Youth Category

Open to members of the community who identify as a student, hobby artist or professional artist between the age of 12 and 25.
Prize: $500

Local Artist Award

This will be awarded to an artist who lives in the City of Ryde. The recipient of this award can be selected from any category, but will be chosen after the selection of all other category winners. Other category winners will not be eligible to then win this award.
Prize: $500

Winner: Rosemary Dugan - Vibiance

People's Choice Award 

Open to all applicants who were selected for the exhibition in any category. Audiences had the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork in the exhibition.
Prize: $250

The People's Choice award was announced at the end of the exhibition.

The exhibition was open to either gender with female artists encouraged to apply. City of Ryde staff and Councillors were eligible to apply and be selected for the exhibition but were not eligible to win any of the prizes.
