How to enter
To enter, post your favourite photo taken at the Granny Smith Festival to Facebook or Instagram as a regular newsfeed post (not as a story). Remember to include #gsfphotocomp and tag @CityofRyde. Entries are unlimited.
The competition runs from 9.00am on Saturday 15 October 2022 to 12.00pm on Monday 17 October 2022.

Competition Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter is the City of Ryde of 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113, ABN number 81 621 292 610.
- The City of Ryde “2022 Granny Smith Festival Photo Competition” Competition commences at 9:00am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 15 October 2022 and closes at 12:00pm AEDT on 17 October 2022.
- Entry into the promotion is open to residents of NSW, Australia only who are 13 years or older.
- Children, 17 years or under, require parental consent.
- Entries are unlimited.
- To be eligible, entrants must post a photo taken at the 2022 Granny Smith Festival on either Facebook or Instagram, and in the post include #gsfphotocomp and tag @CityofRyde. Only posts published to the newsfeed will be accepted, stories will be deemed ineligible due to their disappearing nature.
- Participation in the Promotion by completing the above step is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- City of Ryde staff members, Councillors and their families and any promotional partners are not able to enter the competition.
- From the entries, one (1) first place winner will be selected for the top prize consisting of a Canon Powershot SX540HS, valued at $499.95. Two (2) entries will be selected to each receive a prize pack consisting of 1 x Polaroid NOW 600 Instant Camera and 1 x Polaroid 600 Colour Film Single (8 Shots), valued at $259.90. Three (3) entries will be selected to each receive a LensPen Cleaning Kit - Blower, Lenspen & Cleaning Cloth, valued at $29.95. Prize winners can only receive one prize each.
- This competition is a game of skill, and chance will not determine the prize winners. All valid entries received during the competition period will be judged on their merit and the entries deemed the best received during the judging period will win the prizes.
- The prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
- By entering the competition, the Prize Winners consent to their name being published as winner of the prize draw and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats. The Prize Winners also consent to their winning photograph to be shared on City of Ryde’s social media channels as part of the competition promotions.
- By entering the competition, the Prize Winners consent to their contact details being shared with RMA Eastwood, the sponsor of the competition, for purposes related to the competition.
- If the prize is not claimed within 72 hours of the prize draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will reselect the winning entry.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
- City of Ryde will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- The Promoter recognises that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
- By entering this contest, entrants agree to a complete release of Facebook from any or all liability in connection with this contest.
