Come visit the Apple Shed located in Eastwood Public School Hall for all things Granny Smith Festival.

Here you can talk to volunteers, learn the history of Maria Ann Smith, get a free program and take a spin on our Granny Smith Wheel of Fortune for your chance to win. Every lucky spinner will receive a free apple thanks to our sponsor Woolworths.

The Apple Shed will have a range of live stage shows throughout the day, special visits and photo opportunities with Granny Smith and Sweetie Pie at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

After learning about all things Granny Smith, you’ll have the opportunity to pat Granny Smith’s farm animals at the petting zoo from 9.00am till 3.00pm.

While making your way over to the Circus Playground make sure to grab a bite to eat from our range of food trucks and stalls.

Circus Playground

The grounds of Eastwood Public School is where you can start developing your circus skills between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

A circus-inspired workshop area with juggling, diabolos, devil sticks, pedalos, twirling things, hula-hoops, walking beams and hand-held stilts will be sure to keep the kids busy.

Circus not only teaches essential hand-eye coordination and balance, it is also a fun confidence-building activity that is very beneficial

to a child’s development as well as being accessible to all age groups – children, young people and adults alike.

The area will also feature free face painting and side show alley games for all ages to enjoy.
