Becoming a Councillor - Local Forum for Female Candidates

Join us at this information session about becoming a councillor hosted by Clr Cassandra Coleman (Lithgow City Councillor and President of ALGWA).

The City of Ryde and the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) NSW Branch present an information session for women who are interested in standing at the September 2021 Council elections or for those who are curious to start a rewarding and fulfilling career as a councillor.

City of Ryde Mayor, Clr Jerome Laxale and Clr Penny Pederson, will also be in attendance. Following the presentation, ALGWA NSW Executive members will be available for a Q&A session and to share their knowledge and support for women interested in standing for Local Government Elections.

Women from all local government areas are welcome to attend.
